The Monthly segment where the Devon Dice Crew pick a game they are looking forward to getting that month.
It’s been a while since we last did an On The Horizon post, so time to check out the Meeples Corner preorders pages and see what delights we have coming up in March. What are the Devon Dice crew looking forward to over the next few weeks?
Why: I’ve already played this a few times, with Meeples’ Corner’s own copy, but I cannot wait to get my own copy. The production level is off the chart, the gameplay is super-solid and fun, the artwork is gorgeous and engaging… and all for less than £40! Stonemaier Games are redefining game production quality with this one.
With pre-orders currently closed due to indefinite numbers of copies, there’s no guarantee I will be able to get my own copy in March, but it is totally my most anticipated game for the Month.

Honourable mention: Call To Adventure (£31.50)
Why: I choose this game because I have played it and as Nigel (now a Kickstarter addict) backed it on the crowdfunding website and has received his copy. I choose this not because it was a great experience but because I did have trouble picking a game from the preorder lineup and I knew what game Sam would choose, he is so egg-cited about it, he won’t stop
Anyway, I digress, RT is a good stock control, auction game. The art is pretty and the theme feels pasted on. It is about manipulating stock values by playing a card that lets you collect goods on it but that card also pushes the stock price of other goods up.
